Size matters... maybe

I have recently decided that I must explore the musical experience known as They Might Be Giants.

Does anyone have a suggestion on which of their albums would be a good place for me to start this exploration?

Damn, now I'm going to have Your Racist Friend in my head all day.

You'll love anyone you get, even the kid's albums.

I agree Apollo 18 is a great start, because if you listen to their work chronologically you can hear how they've evolved.

Last time I checked, their website was fantastic and you could order everything from there.

I don't know if they still do this, but they published their telephone number, and you used to be able to leave comments for them on their answering machine. :)

I started with *FLOOD*.

It has a lot of good songs in it. Apollo18 is a good album, but I found I liked more songs on *FLOOD*.

That's my 2 cents.

Ta Ta for now.

I would agree with Flood -
Birdhouse in Your Soul is one of my faves.

YE GODS MAN!!! Have you been living in a cave on Mars, with your eyes shut and your fingers in your ears?!!
