Make sure that you can still talk reasonably comfortably when you exercise. If you are panting so hard you can't hold a conversation then you've over-stressed your system. Also feeling faint during or after a worrk is definitely not good. It can also be dangerous.

Pay atttention to headaches that you get after working out. They can be hypoglycaemic of hypertensive headaches.

If you're not used to exercising, and/or if you have asthma or hypertension, take adequate time to cool down, at least 10 minutes. Cooling down is not just stopping it is slowing down to a stop. For something like ball hocket, take some time to do dynamic stretching exercise, ie, exercises that stretch the muscles but where you continue to move as opposed to sitting/lying on the floor.
