New gadgets
In preparing for the MPRC BBQ taking place on Saturday (you are coming, right?), I picked up some walkie-talkies yesterday.

humoured me as much as she could, but she felt silly standing in the
kitchen with her walkie-talkie while I chatted away to her from the
living room.
In the last couple of pagan fests, I was doing security and was armed with these 2-way radios. Such fun, and I got to walk up to people and ask "Are you feeling secure? I'm here to boost your security, so if you feel insecure at all, I'm here to help."
I need the walkie-talkies so that we can coordinate the people waiting for attendees at the metro and leading them to the right spot in Angrignon Park. But it'll also be useful keeping tabs onsarahcarotte during our LARPing game.
