I voted! I voted!

After much boffo nagging from several of my larping friends, I finally cast my votes for the various categories including Best Role-Play, Funniest Character, Most Sympathetic Character, etc.

I was sad to see that I had not been nominated in any of the categories, but my character concept (while brilliant) was more than I could handle and carry off with any kind of noticable effect.

However, I did feel I should've been nominated for Best Spellcaster, especially considering the last few spells I cast before the game ended (there were two contenders for the throne and, just before they launched into heartfelt speeches to defend their positions, I cast a spell on both of them that caused them to swear for an hour).

So I nominated myself in that category. If anyone of you feel that I should be nominated in that category, you should feel free to nominate me after-the-fact.

Go. Only you have the power to change the vote.

Geek Chic

As I get sicker and sicker (I'm gonna be feverish tonight, I just know it), I had a thought which is actually two stray thoughts that tripped over each other in a drunken stupor:

There should be a Google Azeroth (similar to Google Earth). Each World of Warcraft server would automatically take a snapshot of the Azeroth landscape once a day/week/month. Then you could pick the server you were interested in and zoom in on the landscape to see you are your buds fighting the good fight in World of Warcraft.

Tell me that wouldn't be cool. Tell me I rock in a geeky kinda way. You know you want to.
