Radio

On my way to work, I was listening to CJAD on the AM dial and there was some guy saying some very interesting things about the Tourism industry. I had no idea that the Tourism industry was so stressful, so dangerous, and under attack by foreign nations. He advocated taking a hard line on his (perceived) threat of tourism against his country, how damaging it was, and how it made his people feel unsafe.

Then I realized that he was saying the word "terrorism" instead of "tourism". I switched off the radio and went into work.

There's a terrorism industry now? Eesh. Still, travelling isn't what it used to be. Ignorance was bliss, and now well, I just do road trips instead. Why should I pay $1K per seat to be treated like a prisoner shy of getting thumbprinted and mugshotted. Even my daughter's teddy bear is a threat. I've had better luck with the trains, but it's only a matter of time with them too. Reminds me of that great ol' movie "Silver Streak" with Richard Pryor, and the train at the end going into the terminal at high speed.

Anyways, thanks for the publishing comments via Paganowl. I wrote him back a lil note of thanks too.

I agree that tourism is a stressful industry to work in... but it isn't that bad. Hahaha!
