Online Music
Apr. 16th, 2007 05:01 pmExcellent! I can now listen to unvarnished music at work and I don't have to use the buggy RealPlayer app to listen. It now runs in Windows Media Player.
Over the years, Hober.com has turned me onto a whackload of great artists I never would have heard of otherwise (including the great Greg Brown). Hober plays a mismash of world beat, folk, bluegrass, and other stuff. Their basic playlist philosophy centers on music that you should be able to hear if you were to cross the musician on a dirt road during your travels.
I'll be burning a DVD of mp3s to play at work, but when I get tired of hearing the same stuff over and over, Hober is a great alternative.
