Whispers from the Myth Teller

It turns out that Ma Bell disconnected my Internet service by accident. Also, it turns out my alarm system was slowing me down considerably. The guy put a filter on the alarm system so I should be blazing along at the speed I've been paying for all this time.

I remember back when screensavers were all the rage. The coolest screensavers were made by AfterDark, made famous by their flying toasters (anybody remember those?). Back in 1993, I had an AfterDark Star Trek screensaver with a multitude of settings like Spock blasting away at the screen with a phaser, Star Trek trivia, and tribbles falling from the top of the monitor.

Since then, quality screensavers have been difficult to come by.

But then I was walking by a co-worker's office and I was delighted to see his screensaver. Visit the Must Love Dogs website and try out their screensavers. Mediocre movie (even with Christopher Plummer and John Cusack), but cool download.

Still... I wish I could get my hands on the Star Trek edition of AfterDark. I loved watching Spock walk across my screen.
