I know that. Of course I know that. But the Death card is about one thing ending and another thing beginning. So if you believe that there is another life after this one, you could argue that, on its own, it CAN represent Death.
This story isn't about teaching a class in Tarot, so I'm less concerned about the textbook meaning of the card. I'm looking for a way to end this story in a satisfactory way when telling to a crowd of people.
If you have a way to modify this story to do that, I'd love to hear it.
