Thanks for the very good advice. Some of it I knew, some of it I hadn't even considered. I appreciate your honesty.
The "How're you doing?" and the "How're you holding up?" questions were starting to drive me batty, to the point I started replying "Stop asking me that question!"
The reality of all of this is starting to sink in, but I'm being very well supported by workmates, friends, and family.
