mythtellerOn my last trip to visit my mother, I found a pack of woodcarving tools in my father's workshop (I found two sets actually, but figured I'd start with one). It may seem like a strange place to start, but my interest in woodcarving started out with carving pumpkins for Halloween.
So here's a picture of my first woodcarving (with the tools). This is a piece of wood I picked up on a river shore somewhere and I've kept it for a few years, always intending to do *something* with it.
Now I need to move onto something more flat and try another design.
