FrankenDinger

Dinger is home now, back from the Vet Hospital. He has to wear the Head Cone of Humiliation for 10 days and he'll be on painkillers and antibiotics until everything heals up.
I have the polyp the vet removed in a jar of liquid (see below), although I must bring it back when Dinger goes in for his checkup in 10 days. The pollop was a whopping 3 cm long, which was lodged deep in his ear canal with only a fraction of it visible when you look down his ear.
The vet said that Dinger was a star patient, was pleasant throughout the process, and was even affectionate when he woke up. He is eating normally and behaving fine, so these are all good signs.
What we need to happen now is that the wound where the polyp used to be heals up, which is tricky because, although Dinger has the cone to keep him from scratching his ear, he keeps shaking his head. This can cause the scabs to dislodge and the bleeding to restart.
Any prayers and healing thoughts are appreciated so that Dinger can get through his 10 days of recovery and hopefully the polyp doesn't regrow!
