Scotty has beamed up for the last time (Reuters).

I had no idea that James Doohan was Canadian. Imagine: two Canadian guys on the set and they still didn't get along. I guess it was a case of East (Montreal) clashing with West (Vancouver). I wonder if the two Canucks ever got together for a stubby in their trailers...

Anyways... I hope you enjoy catching up on your technical journals Scotty. You had a great run and it's nice to think that your work has been made a part of pop culture.
