Charging for a 10-day Exposition
Dec. 3rd, 2008 11:28 amI've been asked to submit a storytelling program for an Expo that would last 10 days with 2 to 3 performances per day.
I've never submitted for a show that lasted for so long, so I'm unsure about how to charge for it. If this was sponsored by a government Arts Council, a storyteller would get $250 per 1-hour show. By that calculation, I would charge $5000 to $7500 for this Expo.
Does that sound right? Should it be more or less? How does the math work when charging for such a long-term event?
