Yule and Christmas

I haven't been spending much time with the computer and consequently, my blog and LJ have been gathering dust.
Shopping is mostly done and we're about to go on tour to visit family and friends for the holidays.
I spent this year's Yule quietly contemplating a candle on my altar for as long as I could stay awake (the chairs in my den are way to comfortable). At 2am, I took the candle and put it in the bathtub and went to bed. I was comforted by the fact that I could see the glow of the candle on my bedroom door (especially since I seemed to wake every hour to look at it). It amazes me how much light a single candle can generate.
I wish all of you a Merry Christmas, Happy Yule, and a Happy Holiday (the universal catch-all that covers eveything else). Thanks to all of you for making 2005 A Good Year.
Stay safe, be happy, and I'll see you all soon.
