In case you're joining us late in the program, I've been hired at Autodesk (the old Discreet Logic) for a year to be a team lead for six of their products. I've been spending the last month finding my way around their processes and what we're delivering and stuff, and today, the person I'm replacing just left for her maternity leave.
Yikes. I don't have everything down pat yet, but I have a really strong team, so it takes some of the sting out of it.
I know I can do this and things are definitely less overwhelming now than they were just 4 weeks ago. Excitement and Terror.
