Shiny

I was just rewatching the pilot episode of Firefly when Kaylee gets shot. It's amazing how one's emotions can get all riled for a character we barely know, and yet care deeply for already.

It doesn't matter if the scenario is set in space, in a watchtower, or in someone home on Earth. Solid writing coupled with brilliant direction and talented actors is a trio of circumstances that is a joy to behold.
