He has passed

At 10am today, my father passed away at the Hotel Dieu. Unfortunately, none of us where there to witness his passing, but our thoughts were with him constantly.

I'm on my way to the hospital now. Thanks for everyone checking in. I will post the funeral notice as soon as I know.

I am glad that you had that private time to spend with him yesterday. It is important to be able to say goodbye and thank you.

I believe that we have some control over when we pass and I believe that since he had his quiet time with everyone that he did not need to wait for you all to return today.
