Name Dropping

mythtellerA friend from Toronto is visiting, so we took him out to Hurley's tonight to hear Gary Davis play. While we waited for Gary and Denny (the musicians) to show up, I got the bar darts and played some cricket. A blonde woman was watching me play, so I invite her to play a game of cricket with me.
It turns out that she was from Boston and was visiting Montreal with her husband Chris Nilan (who was sitting nearby). Nilan is attending a ceremony tomorrow night where they will be retiring Larry Robinson's jersey (they were team mates).
I was too embarrassed to admit I couldn't remember for whom Nilan played, although I was fairly certain it was hockey. His wife throws darts like a girl.
