Odd translation

I'm having a User Guide translated from Portuguese to English and came upon this odd bit of translation:

 

The front panel contains the following status lights. For more information on the ports on the posterior panel, see the next page.

*snort* Of course, I'll be referring to the posterior panel as the rear panel, but I sniggered the following to myself as I read it:
 

1.     Does this posterior panel make me look fat?"
2.     I put "ass" back into the word "chassis"!
