mythtellerI *finally* got paid. After six weeks of excuses, my client finally coughed up the money. Sheesh.
So to celebrate, I went out and bought a new DVD player to replace the one that stopped working about two months ago. This new baby (which cost about 1/10 of what I paid for my old one about 10 years ago) plays mp3s, DVDs, and DivX. I also bought season 4 of The Batman and season 1 of Slings and Arrows. I've never seen a full epsiode of S&A, mainly because I never really understood what was going on. I figure starting with season 1 will help me out.
But the best part is that I found a hack on the InterWeb that allowed me to set the region code to zero, meaning I can *finally* play my Black Books DVDs (all three seasons). I purchased them off Amazon.co.uk about three years ago, not realizing that they would only play on region 2 DVD players, and have only been able to watch them on my PC.
Life is good again.
